WTF ALERT: DRUNK FOUR YEAR-OLD FOUND WANDERING HIS NEIGHBORHOOD

OK... You can't make this stuff up. Kinda sad. Oddly funny in that demented way... Here's the scoop:

April Wright, of Chattanooga, Tenn., is 21 years-old and is divorcing her hubby who's in jail. Her little four-year-old sneaks out of the house in the middle of the night, opens a Bud Light, gets skunk drunk, puts on a dress and steals the neighbors' presents from under their tree.

"He ran away trying to find his father," she said. "He wanted to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that’s where his daddy is..." Messed up, huh?

Check out the vid:

  1. Not sure whether to laugh or cry. What a bizarre story. Although, looking at the mother....well, I shan't generalise!!
Must say though, kid sure can hold his liquor!!!!

  2. Don't think it will be too long before the kid ends up in jail with his dad...which is sad to say but probably true.

I'm convinced that there should be some kind of testing system which we should have to pass to prove that we can be good parents. You have to if you want to foster or adopt. I'll get off my soap box now!!!

    Merry Christmas, David.

  3. That is disturbing on so many levels. Gotta make ya wonder what he sees and hears on a day in day out basis.

  4. This is the kind of stuff we try to make up. I wonder if when the mom was five, she smoked her mother's weed and stole the neighbor's Easter baskets?

This is just another example that it takes a village to raise a child - there are varying degrees of good and bad parenting, and I think it is obvious that each child needs guidance from people other than the parents.

  5. I went to a party in that neighborhood the other day and that same kid comes over with this HUGE beer bong. He was pounding 'em. Had a dress and Falsies on that night..kept asking me if I wanted to par-tee.

  6. I'd be more worried about the dress than the beer.
